Academic Career

PhD in Music (Summa cum laude) at the age of 29, Oana Lianu has a very impressive academic itinerary. Her books and publications dedicated to panpipe and Romanian folk music forms ones of the most important teaching materials as aids to the knowledge of Romanian music and wind instruments. Oana Lianu belongs to a very rare category, of those who are gathering in a perfect way the academic career with the artistic one. Her students have great results at the National and International Folklore Festivals, promoting as well as Romanian folklore and traditional culture.
